The Constitution

I am a firm believer in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I am a strong proponent of the 1st Amendment, 2nd Amendment and 10th Amendment. Our founding fathers were daring to believe in a totally new concept. They setup right it is our job to keep it that way.

Israel

I believe in the support and defense of Israel. Israel has been our ally and a great example of democracy in the Middle East.

Illegal Immigration

Illegal Immigration is a burden that our cities, counties and states cannot handle anymore. What is wrong with doing things legally? You cannot break into France, England, Germany, China or Russia. You will be met in the latter three by an armed guard who boots you back over the border. Social programs should be only for American citizens and legal immigrants. Without freebies, then you will have less illegal traffic.

Bailouts and Stimulus Packages

I do not agree with bailouts and stimulus packages. Bailouts are government power grabs into the private sector and a slide toward socialism. Stimulus packages that are full of liberal pet projects I am not in favor of. Anyone, wondering why the stimulus is not working?

The Cash for Clunkers program is a good idea, should only apply to American made vehicles and the older vehicles should have been dismantled for parts or converted to run on vegetable oil or grease. This would help lower income people keep a car and be able to afford the fuel needed to power the vehicle.

Lowering Taxes

I believe in lowering taxes on individuals and companies. The government should stay out of the private sector. The government should give back companies it took over to the private sector. Does the government run anything well? Let’s look at the DMV and the postal office?

Healthcare Reform

I believe that the government should stay out of Health care. Let the private sector sort out Health care and cut costs. First, you must cut out the fraud and corruption within the Health care system. To not do this would only be transferring the cancer to another system. Tort Reform should be used to keep costs low and the Free Market to weed out the expensive products. The government in control of Health care scares me, because power like that can enslave the people to the government.

Welfare to Workfare

I believe that welfare needs to be reformed into Workfare. Where the able body recipient is trained to become a productive part of society. These people are given self worth. They also become a tax payer. The government and the private sector should work together putting this person to work.

Crime and Drugs

Crime and Drugs are a disease within our country. We need to find a punishment and rehabilitation service for these men and women, so that they never want to go to jail/prison again. When they come out of jail/prison they can become a productive member of society.

Supporting Workers

I believe that Police, Firefighters, EMT’s and Teachers should be paid a fair and handsome sum for the duty they perform. They are doing a selfless act. Police protecting and upholding the law, Firefighters  bravely running into a burning building, while others are running out, EMT’s who  help save our lives on the way to the hospital and Teachers who educate the next generation of thinkers, learners, engineers, policemen, firefighters, EMT’s,  workers and politicians. We owe all of these professions a great debt.
